We entered a new world in 2009 of receiving awards and winning contests, something we had never considered a possibility, or even a goal. Our focus has always been to share Jesus and just be the best He has made us. Last fall, however, Wilbur Foss encouraged us to come and participate in the Rural Roots Traditional Music Festival in Nebraska and we tried out our skills at a contest, well make that several contests. The people there were so supportive and encouraging that it wasn't too scary, even Charity wanted to perform for Young Entertainer catagory. They were very excited when we came away with ribbons and prizes for several catagories as follows:
